DO: This Year Pay It Forward Under The Tree

We're always hearing about random acts of kindness happening at the Starbucks counter, where customer pays for the customer behind them. Something so small can make such a huge impact on someone's life.

If coffee's not your thing, you can pay-it-forward by giving gifts that keep on giving this holiday season.

TOM's shoes started the trend with their One for One Movement, which for every pair of shoes purchase, pledges to donate a pair of shoes to someone in need. Warby Parker did the same thing and they give a pair when you buy a pair  (check out their new sunwear line). Even non-profits are jumping in on the action. Through their Lights for Haiti program, Atlanta-based ServeHaiti will donate one-solar powered light to a new mother in Haiti who does not have electricity when you buy one for yourself.

As a business and as a consumer, we are inspired by these companies, and others like them, who are dedicated to giving and improving the lives of those in need.

TODAY: Perform a random act of kindness. You never know the impact it will have and how it will be paid forward.
